WONKO'S IR FOLLY

This set of scans is of a mistake. I hand loaded some film that I THOUGHT was color. As I found out, it was actually my Kodak High Speed Infrared. OOOPS!

Well surprisingly I actually got something.

Below is a color positive scan to show what I was working from (unedited) and a file after I played with it. Others will probably be able to do better, but I think under the circumstances, it turned out surprisingly well.

The roll showed signs of fogging and other light contamination beyond the bizarre things that happened to it in processing. I attribute this to the fact that I have made no effort to protect it beyond what would be standard for color film. Even just loading the camera was most likely hard on the film.

Try playing with the positive as a color image. It surprises me how many tones and shades there are. The specs are not kidding when they say that it is sensitive to blues and greens.
